Upgrade to our Google Penalty Checker

We have just released a new functionallity to our Google Penaulty Checker: now you have the ability to filter to filter the data our tool analyzes by landing page URL. Here is what it looks like:

Google Update Checker Landing Page Filter

When applying a filter, all the data our tool analyzes is restricted by the filter. So you get all the benefits of the tool for subsets of your data. In essense this means you can get a clearer “signal” out of your statistics, especially of only a subset of your pages where affected by an algorithm change.

This should be especially useful when dealing with Panda updates, because they can target only specific sections of your site sometimes.

The interface itself is pretty straightforward and should be familiar to you from Google Analytics. You can define a filter as Inclusive or Exclusive and you have 5 types of filters you can apply.

Landing Page Filter

We are not planning on making the filter any more complex at the moment, but if you, our users, tell us that you need better filtering, we will respond.
